How is MGP different from other LARPs? It’s a fair question, and one I’d like to address. First, we’re not just a LARP. We’re a multi-media gaming organization. We run games online, in forum and chat areas, and we are looking to expand on the MGP gaming experience by combining live games with an online component!
We are also different because we offer opportunities to play odd and rare creatures right off the bat. With the purchase and expenditure of Player Points, you can use our character creation chart to create that 5th generation Salubri you’ve always wanted to play! Even after character creation, we have multiple online shops where you can purchase exciting in character items and abilities for your Werewolf or Vampire character.
And lastly, while we are a business, we are more importantly a social community. We offer opportunities to hang out and chat about the game, supernatural-themed television and movies, and whatever else is on your mind. Someone is always on chat, or you can start a thread about your current favorite passion. In 2011, we’re even hosting our first HatterCon in Kansas City, Missouri. While we are obviously going to offer superior gaming sessions, we’re already planning on some fun community events.
